Congratulations to 2026 Master of Public Health Graduates!

Celebrating 26 New MPH Graduates

At Vanderbilt University School of Medicine’s Commencement on May 8, MPH Program Director Christiane Roumie, MD, MPH, and Executive Vice Dean Donald Brady, MD, celebrated the achievements of this year’s graduates. Seven students completed the Global Health track, 11 finished Epidemiology, and eight earned degrees in Health Policy. Honoring Dr. Bill Dupont’s Lasting Impact on the MPH Program

After the ceremony, MPH students, faculty, friends, and family gathered for a reception to celebrate the graduates and honor Bill Dupont, PhD, Professor of Biostatistics and Health Policy. Since 1996, Dr. Dupont has taught Biostatistics in the program and has trained more than 400 MPH students.

Dr. Dupont has been key in expanding and improving the MPH curriculum to reach a wider and more diverse group of students, from recent graduates to experienced professionals. His leadership has helped the program grow, adding new concentrations and creating an inclusive environment. Dr. Dupont is known for his dedication to students, his willingness to share his time and expertise, and his efforts to strengthen the program’s educational mission.
